A subpoena is a writ ordering a person to attend a court proceeding.  It is enforceable by the court's contempt power, and refusal to appear can subject you to arrest or attachment.

If you have been subpoenaed for trial, you may be able to be placed "on call."  To request to be placed on call, please contact the District Attorney's Office and provide a current contact number.

You may access provide your contact information here (the password is on your subpoena)

You must be available to come to court within a few hours. Every attempt will be made to accommodate your schedule, however a subpoena takes priority over all other business.
